Fall of 2021, I was happy to have been asked to write an article for @quenchmagazine. The magazine has relaunched in ‘PRINT’...hooray! My article was focused on Ontario Cabernet Franc - the balanced and stylish wines that can be made from this grape in Ontario is quite phenomenal. We can check all the boxes when it comes to style, light fresh to fuller bodied. For those with or without patience there is so much to choose from when considering early drinking wines or wines built for the cellar. But why wait, read up, drink up, and get some Franc. Thank you to the winemakers and wineries both new and pioneering that shared their stories and vision, shared their wines (current and library releases), pointed me in the right directions.
