pretending to live in the Garden District for a few days ⚜️🌸We scoot down to New Orleans every chance we get and this was our first time opting for an airBNB in the Garden District instead of a hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. 🎉tbh kind of felt like visiting a *brand new* (to us) New Orleans for the first time too. 🦞 There were local restaurants within walking distance to try, shops on Magazine Street to stumble upon, and hopping on the Street Car for a ride down St. Charles was a breeze. 🌳 Drive time to City Park & the Audubon Zoo were cut in half - and we were even surprised to find a few neighborhood playgrounds nearby inviting us to stay & explore. 🩵 While I loveeee being immersed in the French Quarter (& some of the hotels nestled in it are my favorites in the world) ... I’ve got to say, going the airBNB route has been *life changing* with the kids. The extra bedrooms, the dishwasher, the washing machine! ...
