Ya know, for someone who works actively as a musician and photographer/videographer, I don’t post nearly as much as I should and I’m fully aware of it. This whole platform of social media has changed quite drastically for me and I think for everyone. Posting a “selfie” or displaying what’s going on in my own life at every second just doesn’t feel genuine to me. Please don’t interpret this as judgement towards those who do as it’s not, just doesn’t suit me personally. There has however been some really amazing highlights in my life over the last 6 months though, a lot of it thanks to @hurricanenita and @thejoshv who chose to include me in their wonderful musical journey. Words won’t ever fully express my gratitude to them both for this. Every part of my life has become something completely different then it was last October as a result. From my work, to my family and the people in my life, and even more so the decisions, actions and choices that I’m making for myself. Everything feel so much more intentional and there’s so much less hesitation on my part because of this. My circle became smaller, things that no longer matter have been removed and my focus is on what’s in front of me. This perspective of life has become greater with every waking moment and I’m grateful for it. This is the point of this message here. I’m grateful. Grateful for the people in my life. Grateful for my friends and family. Grateful to be healthy and capable. I hope that all of you who are reading this are grateful too for the things in your own life that bring you happiness.
