Today is 10 years at @burnleyofficial for me. Very proud to have represented this club for so long. I want to take this opportunity to shout out a few of the brilliant people behind the scenes who have been at the club longer than me... Kitman - Lee Martin. He’s been at the club for 12 years but didn’t expect to be a kitman when he first joined. He does a great job and is one of the nicest blokes you could meet. Training Ground Manager - Kevin Harris. 25 years he’s been at the club! Always busying around the training ground sorting everything out, credit to him for all the work he’s done especially over the pandemic. Groundsman - Aiden Mcgough. He’s been at Burnley longer than I’ve been alive... 34 years. He started in 1986 and just goes quietly about his business in a job he clearly loves. U23s coach - Andy Farrell. He played for the Clarets over 250 times between 87-94, came back as U9s coach in 2006 and is now the U23s coach. A great servant to the club! Head Groundsman - Barry O’Brien. Baz has been here 15 years and leads the squad of groundsmen who do a brilliant job keeping the pitches immaculate, but takes most of the stick from the staff if the grass is too long, dry, wet, frozen or patchy! Last but by no means least is Elaine Clare who worked at the ticket office for over 30 years and retired at the start of the year. Unfortunately didn’t manage to get a pic before she left!
