Still processing what happened Monday night. I had such an inspiring time talking to filmmakers I admire, old friends I hadn’t seen in years, new friends I sparked to for the first time. So many incredible talented and inspiring people in the room. Which is why this win was even more surprising to us than you can imagine. No one at our table thought our film was going to be chosen that night (which is why we all looked like we were in a daze and Stephanie needed to be held on stage 😛) It would have been enough just to have been in the same room with everyone there. Thank you to the @gothamawards for knocking us all back. And suddenly making this all feel real. So grateful to have been surrounded by friends. So sad our mama @michelleyeoh_official was not there with us. Wish our whole cast and crew could have been on that stage. 🙏🏻 And thanks to @paulsmithdesign for helping me look like a Disney villain for a night.
