NIKE N7 ‘June 21 we celebrated Canada‘s National Indigenous Peoples Day and the launch of the summer 2022 NIKE N7 collection. Influenced by Berry dyeing and the bold multicolour stripes of ribbon skirts, the latest NIKE N7 collection celebrates the athletes, creators, and leaders of the seven generations. Graphics made from algae-based ink technology gives the collection a special combination of style and sustainability. N7 began more than 20 years ago as a business plan created by Sam McCracken to support the Indigenous community in the USA and Canada. The plan was inspired by Native American wisdom of the seven generations: “In every deliberation we must consider the impact of our decisions on the seventh generation.” N7 was created to bring sport, and all of its benefits, to the community - believing that when one generation realizes it potential, future generations are much stronger for it. The NIKE N7 created to connect Native American Indigenous youth to play, sports and physical activity programs, awarded more than 8 million in grants administered by Charities Aid Foundation of America to more than 270 communities and organizations between 2009 - 2021.’ #NIKEN7 #SeeMeSeeUs
