Seriously, if you're hitting Banff National Park, you CANNOT miss these four lakes! As a solo international adventurer, these spots blew my mind and should be on your bucket list. Save this for your next trip! 👇 First up, Lake Louise 🤩. You've seen the photos, but nothing prepares you for that vibrant turquoise! I loved walking the shoreline, soaking in the grandeur of the Fairmont Chateau, and just feeling totally present. It's truly iconic for a reason! Then there's Lake Moraine ✨. This one is pure fairy tale! The ten peaks surrounding it just make the color of the water pop even more, and even though it was busy, finding a quiet spot to just breathe it all in was totally worth it. It’s breathtaking from every angle! Don't skip Peyto Lake 🦊. Talk about unique! This glacier-fed lake is shaped like a wolf's head, and the view from the Bow Summit viewpoint is just insane. The color is unlike anything else, and it truly feels like a hidden gem even with other visitors around. Seriously mesmerizing! And finally, a short hop outside Banff National Park into Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake 💚. This lake lives up to its name with the most stunning emerald green water! It's calmer, feels a bit more secluded, and offers incredible walking trails. I rented a canoe here, and it was pure bliss gliding across that glassy, vibrant water. Absolutely serene!
