In 1834 Sir John Soane created the Model Room in his late wife Eliza’s bedroom to display his architectural models of ancient sites. Julian Harrap architects restored and reconstructed this room in 2015 and it can now be visited in Sir John Soane's Museum. Photograph: Gareth Gardner
