The highlight of our stroll in Lefkes was meeting Sosso, 94 years old, and Chrisula at a street’s corner! Despite the langage barrier, we were able to share a long conversation and lots of laughters, bouncing between greek, german, english, french and hand signs. They let us inside this gem of a church, which they’ve been taking care of and keeping clean for so many years now. We couldn’t thank them enough for their beautiful energy and warmth.
