I turned 25 over this summer & I wish someone would’ve told me that growth often feels like grief. I’m grieving the parts of my life that no longer serve me but have kept me warm & safe for so long. I’m grieving the relationships that I thought would be lifelong, that now I understand were only meant for a beautiful moment. I’m grieving the family & home I built thats no longer a safe place for my heart n soul. BUT in the midst of all this grief, there’s an abundance of LOVE & gratitude- for the people, places, experiences and life I’m currently building.... In the words of my favorite author Dr. Seuss- “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”... Sending love & light ✨✨✨
