This are platelet rich plasma injections, more commonly known as "PRP injections." We extract the patient's own blood and place into a centrifuge that spins the blood and separates into three components: 1. Platelet poor plasma; 2. Platelet rich plasma; and 3. Red blood cells. The platelet poor plasma is discarded. The platelet rich plasma is extracted and injected into the affected areas as shown in the video. Typically three monthly treatments are performed with follow-up treatments over time.
