Tackling the youth mental health crisis in America is an important tenet of how we are building a brighter future for all through our social purpose platform, #MissionEveryOne. As part of our efforts, we have extended our commitment to longtime partner @TrevorProject, the world’s largest suicide prevention and mental health organization for LGBTQ young people, through a renewed four-year pact. Earlier this year, Macy’s raised $1.4 million for The Trevor Project during the company’s annual Pride + Joy, National LGBTQ Pride Month campaign and in the last four years we’ve helped raise more than $4.7 million for their crisis intervention and suicide prevention programs. We recognize that mental health resources are needed now more than ever. That’s why we also launched a charitable giving campaign that runs through September 14 where Macy’s customers have an opportunity to raise awareness and funds through online donations and register roundups to support @JedFoundation and @NAMICommunicate.
