David Teyfe’s Latke Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pounds potatoes (approximately 4-5 potatoes)
2 Vidalia Onions
For frying: Grapeseed oil
Salt and Pepper
Method:
1. Grate the onions and potatoes.
2. Remove the water from the bowl.
3. Mix onions and potatoes together and season with 2 tsp of salt and pepper.
4. Turn pan on. Add grapeseed oil; bring up to temperature.
5.Add 1 tbspof latke mix to the pan.
6. Flatten the latke with the spoon. Wait until the edges turn golden brown.
7. Flip the latke. Cook for an additional minute.
8. Remove the latke from the pan. Add it on a plate lined with paper towel.
9. Add any topping you desire. Enjoy with friends and family.
