Arguably Sweden's top textile artist, Barbro Nilsson was hired to manage the renowned Märte Måås-Fjetterström weaving studio in Båstad in 1942, where she would remain for the next 30 years. She was greatly inspired by nature, finding success and worldwide recognition for many of her designs, many of which are displayed in the National Museum of Sweden.
