Excited to share new work for @pivotcycles. Feast your eyes on Sight Unseen: Guatemala - A documentation of five days in Guatemala following Brice Shirbach as he explores all Guatemala has to offer. Embracing the unknown and fully immersing into the local culture.
I don’t think I could summarize in a few sentences just how incredible those few days were. Experiencing such a vibrant and rich culture, riding gnarly, ancient, agriculture trails, sampling some amazing food/coffee, and meeting great people along the way. Days filled with humbling, awe-inspiring, and "pinch myself I’m dreaming" worthy moments. I could have done without the food poisoning - but all & all, it was phenomenal.
The crew we had for this trip was all time. A massive shout out to everyone at @oldtownoutfitters for being there for every step of the way and guiding such an amazing experience for us. Matt, Chris, Dember, owe y’all some cervezas still. @drewbennettphoto, man, what a pleasure to work along side you, you killed it out there. So many “am I in your shot?” moments and broken backs from lugging gear. Julie, absolutely inspiring to hear what you’re doing for fellow riders and women with @worldridemtb and a blast to ride with you. Fully believe that the people behind this project made this trip as memorable as it is.
On a personal note - It still blows my mind that two of my favorite things, a bike and a camera, could take me to such beautiful places. It was a privilege to work on this project and truly appreciate everyone that gave it such momentum (@pivotcycles & @bricycles, thank you a million)
