this is a variation of my opening message edited for you: @tiff_net was a celebration of a long long journey and i know i speak for everyone involved in the film - how exciting it was for us finally share our hard work with you. thank you all for the lovely messages, reviews, and in person hugs. giant thank you to my cast and crew, especially my ari + dante, i love you both very much. thank you qto limelight, 3pas, big swing, 42west (especially madison), my dope ass team gina, jairo, mark, and jenny. the most special thanks to @benjamin.alire.saenz you believed in me first, val for being by my side, and of course, my friends and family. this story unlocked something in me that has forever changed me in ways words don’t exist for. i hope the film affirms that magic exist, that love can arrive in expected ways and in unexpected forms. believing that is truly understanding the secrets of the universe. can’t wait to share it with all of you as soon as we can! forever, aitch.
