MINI GT Fans! Another exciting news for you! We are pleased to announce the new MINI GT Grand Prix Collection. The collection will be focusing on F1 model cars throughout the Formula 1 history. The first two castings are the Lotus 78 and Tyrrell P34. Lotus 78 nicknamed “Wing car” was the first F1 car that fully utilized the concept of aerodynamic. In contrast, Tyrrell Racing Team took a different approach . The four smaller 10-inch wheels design kept an optimal level of traction at front while lowering aerodynamic drag. The famous Tyrell P34 “6 Wheeler”, was one of the most radical designs in the history of motorsports. We finally have the chance to create these unique race car in 1/64 scale and share with our fans. We also like to announce that we will also be making 1/64 scale models of modern F1 cars. We become licensing partner of Red Bull Racing in the middle of 2022 and Red Bull F1 models are under development for sometimes now. You can expect the model arriving later this year and we will be adding more F1 racing team in 2023. Please follow our socia media closely and we will keep you updated.
