Once in a while you meet someone and you know they are a rare gem unlike anyone you’ve ever met. Kimberly was that rare gem. We met in a Facebook group when I was looking for someone to be the voice of Freeform on social. I needed to find someone who stood for something and wanted to change society. Someone who was funny. Someone who knew just what to write in any moment. Kimberly was that and more. She showed up every day at work wanting to use the platform she was given to make the world a better place. She made our LGBTQ fans feel seen and told a bunch of racist fans to f*ck off when they came for one of our stars. Kimberly was beloved by literally everyone and a shining light in every room she was ever in. She was a champion for her friends, teammates and all good ideas. Kimberly was truly the best copywriter I had ever met and I know she’s looking down from heaven wishing she could give me notes on this post.
