Evening reflections in an overgrown pond near where all our trailers are parked. Pippy and I went for a walk up an abandoned road that passes by the pond--weeds splitting the tarmac and a completely rusted sign--Speed Limit 15. I wonder where the people are now who drove by that sign years ago, taking in the immaculately kept grounds. Kudzu has smothered most of the trees...guardrails are covered with vegetation. Birds call and flutter in the chaotic upper branches of the unkempt trees--nature will always win.
