I used to bake at least two loaves a week a year ago. And then I stopped suddenly, then the war started, so my starter died. The amazing @felicityspector took a whole bunch of donated equipment to a Kyiv bakery @bakehouse_bh that was bombed. On the way back Felicity went through Lviv and met with one of my best Kakhovka-born friends @seldonenko Katrya gave a sourdough starter to Felicity who then passed it to me. I no longer had any excuses not to bake. So I started baking! This is my first sourdough of 2022. Worked well, I used the method in Summer Kitchens - which is a simplified method that my mum uses after learning from @seldonenko It was good. Felt good to make too.
