Our mistakes are sometimes our best teachers. As stylists we will continue to make mistakes throughout our entire career, this is ok, we are human too! As hairstylists, we do make mistakes. I vividly remember a time as an apprentice turning my sister’s roots bright pink/red, which was not the outcome we were going for! So of course, I had to do a full color correction, but the color theory I learned from that session helped me become an even better colorist in the future.
