IT'S ALWAYS INTERESTING... To see what people connect with when I create a design. 😊 Little things I think are just a simple accent sometimes impact people more than I ever think will happen. You just never know. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have gotten more comments and DM's about this watermelon🍉 I used as a styling accent for our Perry Belmont Workshop Table I can't even tell you! I chose the watermelon for a few reasons. 1. It had the colors I was looking for in this table design. Pinks, reds and greens. 2. You don't see watermelon a lot for table decor. I have seen it but not nearly as much as other things and not in the high end wedding world. 3. I have my own set of rules I follow for my designs. Mostly that there are no rules. 😂 If it fits into what I want for my aesthetic I'd throw a flamingo in there. This 🍉 was never something I thought would cause such a stir. But isn't that usually the way of it? 💕I received a few comments along the lines of how happy people were to see me using unique things that didn't follow what was trendy and it gave them confidence to do the same. To set new trends.👏🏻 I couldn't ask for more than to know my work inspires people and I can certainly say you shouldn't hold yourself back as a designer. If you make a mistake life will certainly go on. I have certainly made my share of them. 😘 .......
