From our founder Katie Willcox: First things first: This was some random person who created this click bait. 2nd, the female body is not a trend and therefore it is neither “in” nor “out.” It just “is.” 3rd, our industry is consumer driven! Let me repeat CONSUMER DRIVEN! That means all of us dictate where the market goes! Remember that God awful Prairie trend last summer? 😂💀 yeah... don’t think we will be seeing that again. Why? It didn’t sell! Women were like, what the hell is this? 🥴😆 Aside from the funny memes, it didn’t sell! We don’t get to decide what companies or celebs try to sell us but we get to decide what we buy! 🔑 4th, there is an obvious disconnect in the retail fashion market with consumers. That is why returns are higher then ever, and many brands have yet to use models over a size sample size XS-S when the average US woman is 5’4” and a size 16. We will continue to see shifts happening as consumers have a voice and start to realize they dictate the “trends” not some random person writing clickbait or a celeb. 👌🏽💪🏽😘 The future of fashion is going to look very different and you will be the driving force if you choose to be as an empowered consumer!
