Here are some pictures I took two years ago from my time in hospital, compared to now. I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia on 26th Nov (on this day) in 2020. I thought that I was just going into the hospital for a normal checkup after taking a blood test, but little did I know I’d get the news to change the course of my life forever. Although I’m still on treatment, I can at least say I’m in a much better place health wise (Alhamdullilah), and although things may never be the same again, I will keep fighting until I get back to my very best! I’m learning to reflect and find strength from such a traumatic experience, so it’s nice to look back and see how far I have come in the space of two years. Do whatever you can to look after yourself, health is truly wealth. Peace and love to all 🙏🏾❤️
