Experience your city in a new way! Grand Avenue Augmented is a guided augmented reality (AR) experience featuring 40+ AR activations by over 30 local artists and two dozen organizations - it’s produced by the DCBID. You can see murals pop up in the gardens, get a glimpse of historic LA, or step out onto a 72 story helipad via the easy-to-use Hoverlay app. An installation we’re particularly excited about is @LeahSmithsonArt’s dancers on 1Cal Plaza. Leah is a Los Angeles-based artist with a surrealistic nature to her work, using both traditional and new media to create immersive art experiences.
