Last week the team took a trip to Somerset for one of our weddings (more on that very soon). We used our time in the area to do a little exploring and inspiration gathering to feed into future events. I’ve said it often that creativity doesn’t come from a Pinterest board but rather real life: all the delights to be found strolling the streets, soaking up architecture, discovering artisan businesses and eating all the delicious food. Our trip took us to the @the_pig_hotels Pig near Bath - a gorgeous rustic space with a delightful 25-mile market garden to plate menu and a key inspiration for an upcoming wedding celebration. Then onto Bruton with a stay at @numberonebruton, a visit to @hauserwirthsomerset to view the @henrymoorestudios exhibition and the intensely beautiful @pietoudolf gardens. Followed by the most insane tasting menu experience @osiprestaurant. Our last day was spent strolling around Frome, and discovering a lovely little town filled with artisan creative businesses.
