this time last year, goldenrod and asters were starting to line the roads leading to @starroutefarm and i found myself in a place thinking through poetry again. a year later, i find myself doing my first solo day at the farm and reflecting on the person im becoming, the ways in which i’ve needed to let go of so much that no longer serves me and how much of it feels so expansive. . reminding myself that the journey towards healing is more discomfort than it is a pond surrounded by wildflowers. but the healing in itself is bigger than the mountains i find myself surrounded by. 🍃
