In Gamlitz is where we met up with Alexander of @weingut.sattlerhof Walking through the steep inclined vineyards of the Sernauberg, taking in the verdant landscape. These wines etch a new image of what Sauvignon and Company can be on the world stage of wine. An afternoon visit to another corner of the region w/ @weingut_tement w/ Armin Tement another key protagonist for quality wines of the Südsteiremark DAC. The winery overlooks the home vineyard(s) and sits atop the primary rock that gives these wines their energy and power.
