I’ve been making these lighting diagrams for @profoto and @profotosharethelight so I thought I’d share some here. This was a portrait for The Hollywood Reporter back in November. Before the group shot we focused on shooting individual portraits. As you can see from the diagram and the BTS, we used two lights. One was gridded and then diffused again from the bottom and the other (the Key) was a double socked Umbrella. One thing you can’t see is that I had a duvateen on the ground to stop the bounce.
