GrowNYC hosts weekly virtual workshops intended to help youth deepen their understanding of how food, health, and environment intersect – and their ability to affect. The next workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 27 from 5 PM - 6 PM This workshop will introduce staff to the concept, history, and implications of food sovereignty. Speakers will highlight modern examples of the movement and emphasize the role of food sovereignty in an equitable food system.
