Weekends in the City can feel like a staycation. We spent ours with the kids practicing their biking and scootering in our building’s courtyard, enjoying nice brunches, good food, and lots of laughter. We also played ball in the park, soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. Even taking the subway can be entertaining for the kids—especially for Augusto, who absolutely loves it. At home, we played hide and seek and simple games like spinning around on a swivel chair. Sometimes, happiness lies in the simplest things, and the kids help us rediscover the joy in them.
