Let’s talk toner maintenance between balayage appointments. My goal is for my guests to only need to have a lightening service once every 4-8 months, but between those appts, toners fade. You’ll likely only get 15-20 shampoos before it’s totally gone. Here in CO, most people wash 2x a week. If you do the math, that’s 10 or less weeks. Once it’s washes out, you’re left with raw lightened hair... which is fine if you’re a natural level 7 or lighter, but most people aren’t so what you’ll have is warm “brassy” hair 🤷🏼‍♀️ Something fun that can be done at your toner appts you can play with doing darker, warmer, or cooler.
