✨YOUTH EVENT✨ Girls Society is a year long program for girls age ten to fourteen (10-14 yrs) & teen girls ages fifteen to eighteen (15-18) for mentorship roles. The Girls Society will focus on empowering girls through mentorship, in becoming wikoskalakapi or young women. We do this by training adult mentors in girl-centered programming and holding weekly, consistent, safe talking circles with focuses on various topics like, self awareness, healthy coping skills, financial literacy education, field trips, cultural crafts, stress management techniques, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, abuse prevention and various other activities that encourage a healthy lifetstyle.
