I forgot who I seen you do this, but you put a smiley face on the thumb of the scissors! You tell your student if they see the smiley face, they are holding the scissors is the right way! If they don’t do the smiley face, they’re holding them wrong! . This has helped my PreK kiddos learn how do use scissors so much faster than in years past!
