I cut my hair in April around the time of my 10 year anniversary being cancer free. I was and maybe still am processing a lot but releasing the weight of the last ten years, at least in part, has been so refreshing. However, in the past two years, despite gaining much, I haven’t felt like I have a home that feels like mine. It’s felt like my communities are scattered and dwindling. I have been living out of a messy suitcase and some duffels - ready to leave town at any opportunity. Anyway, I guess I’ve come around (not for the first time) to the thought that I’ve been seeking something that I really need to create….
