In Al Madinah, Syria, Barkhodan is a beekeeper and teacher, and lives with his wife and three young children. Barkhodan grew up around animals and plants, and owes his passion for beekeeping to a childhood spent living close to nature with his family. Our teams partnered with him to obtain beehives and equipment to properly care for his bees, and he’s been able to supplement his teaching income with the money gained from beekeeping and honey production. 🐝 🍯
