There is a saying "If you see something say something" As a Solo traveler I have to make sure I am aware of my surroundings and my safety becomes #1 priority. But if you do run across a situation that seems sketchy below are 3 🚩 to look out for. You just might be able to save someone's life without risking your own. 🚩 #1. The victim seems paranoid, eager, or overly fearful. They might keep their head down and only speak when spoken to which comes off submissive or scared. 🚩 #2. The victim is traveling with a bunch of minors and there is a lack of luggage/clothing. Also pay attention to if the group looks malnourished. 🚩 #3. The victim has indication of abuse and lack of social skills. Pay attention to if they seem disoriented or loss. In the US you can call the 24-Hour National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 if you believe someone may be a victim. Dial 911 to report your suspicions.
