[save+share for your trip to Cape Town] If you hear this song on all my reels for the next month, don’t say I didn’t warn you 😆 📍Lion’s Head Mountain 🇿🇦 Cape Town Since my move to Cape Town, I’ve done this hike twice and both times were worth the view. This hike takes about 1.5 hours if you take the shortcut, which involves some actual rock climbing and a bit of danger and takes about 2+ hours if you take the scenic route. You’ll eventually get to a sign that will tell you which way is which. Both routes have their pros and cons. The shorter one, obviously it is shorter but I wouldn’t recommend if you have difficulty climbing or fear of heights. The longer route has a really nice stopping spot with a beautiful view and is a taaad bit safer but of course, it takes longer to the top. Either way, the view from the top is incredible. This hike was a part of what convinced me to stay here. The stillness, the perfect peace and quiet at the top of the mountain and the view is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. You have a full aeriel view of Cape Town, table mountain, signal bill, camps bay and maaan... just go for yourself when you visit. I promise you won’t regret it.
