💛 As we're coming close to the end of the year, we're going to be taking a look back at some of the most memorable moments from the operas and ballets which we staged at our theatre in 2022. In March, as part of our on-going exploration of the works of Benjamin Britten, we staged a compelling new production of Peter Grimes. Deborah Warner’s shattering production painted a vivid picture of a small community’s descent into suspicion, gossip and mob mentality in the face of a tragedy. The work featured some of the most powerful and evocative music ever written performed by an outstanding cast, conducted by Sir Mark Elder.
