Asagiri 朝霧 - “morning mist” - is the name of one of Yuichi Romita’s latest glazes. In our current exhibition, Omokage, Yuichi uses this gentle, mat, and misty glaze mainly for his Shiboridashi teapots. Asagiri glaze results in unique ways on each Shiboridashi, reminding us of a walk in a quiet forest in the very early morning - calm, yet flowing with its own movement. We are open everyday 11:00-17:00 throughout this week until Sunday (20.11.), the last day of the exhibition.
