Congratulations to Steve Perski @steveperski on his nomination for a Music+Sound Award! Our Creative Director of Sound, Steve Perski collaborated with Academy Award winning Sound Designer, Nicolas Becker (SOUND OF METAL) on this campaign for Toyota. "Brothers" tells the heartwarming true story of brothers Brian, diagnosed with a degenerative retinal disorder at 19 years old, his brother, Robin, who acted as his guide. As a team, they won 10 Paralympic Cross Country skiing medals. The delicate mix drawing cinematic textures from Becker's design and the tense composition together, brings you into the experience of Brian McKeever as he loses his eyesight. Steve approached this project as it were a feature film paying mind to the smallest details in rustles of clothing, skis against the snow, and amplifying heavy breathing in the middle of workouts as the picture goes blurry, bringing the audience deeper into Brian's POV.
