As I’m getting ready to give birth to my 3rd child and transition into being a mama of 2 under 2, I can’t help but reflect on my journey to get here. It’s been full of ups and downs, trauma and healing, breakdowns and breakthroughs. But one thing I absolutely know for certain in my spirit is that I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t let go of the past and embrace healing and the present. Let go of pain and wounds from childhood. Let go of dysfunctional dating relationships. Let go of of fear of failure. Let go of my first daughter... When we don’t let go of things, we stay stuck in the moment it happened. I’ve gotten stuck in the past many times but always knew in my soul that God couldn’t bless me with His present promises if I was living in a past moment. So let me encourage you today to let go of whatever it is that you know you need to let go of. You’re the only one who knows that that is. It can be hard. It can hurt. But it prepares your heart and makes room for what God wants to bless you with. It’s time to let go. It’s time to let yourself live again.
