Do I need to diffuse? A very common question I hear in the salon. Let’s break it down. Diffusing does 3 things: ✨Dries your hair. The diffuser is great for keeping waves/curls/coils in tact while drying. It diffuses air coming from the blow dryer out of the diffuser, making the flow less forceful than without one. ✨Gives more curl. Think about the typical diffusing action you see. Scooping sections of your hair in the diffuser then pushing it towards the scalp. That motion encourages & creates more curl through your ends. ✨Gives more volume. That same scooping motion also helps give more volume & lift at your root. If you are looking for any of these benefits, then diffusing would be a great option for you! *I suggest air drying for 10-20 minutes depending on your hairs density, prior to diffusing to shorten the time you are actively diffusing your hair.
