🇬🇧 !!! Platinum Jubliee. 3 weeks spent rehearsing and laughing with a beautiful team. Very thankful for the experience. — We were given the choice of how to have our hair for this show (🙏🏽) and I was realllyyy debating what style to go for. I asked a few people their opinions etc but ultimately I felt like it would be ‘safer’ and more neutral for the British public to slick it down. I then thought about how far this show would be broadcasted and how many people it’d reach and deeped that if the world is going to see this Black British face on their tele, they should see me for how I feel most comfortable. Natural, curly with a laid edge. Also kept thinking about my nieces.
