We invented “Ocean Plastic” nearly ten years ago. The idea was simple: Intercept trash in remote coastlines, on beaches, reefs and open sea. Turn it into premium material like yarns and fabrics to fund our movement. We categorized it into two different types: A - Shield and B - Rescue. Waste collected in the sea or washed up by the sea would fall under category B Material intercepted on the way to the Oceans categorizes as A We trademarked ‘Ocean Plastic’ and developed a supply chain for it. It took years and years to master the process, find the right manufacturers and get longterm commitments from brands to change their material strategies and adopt #ParleyAIR . Avoid. Intercept.
