Happy Thanksgiving from Palestine! It’s been about 3 months here and I must say I am so happy I chose to take this journey. I was reluctant at first because my career was finally doing very well and I wasn’t sure if these opportunities and connections would be there after a year of being abroad. But I no longer worry about that and trust that I am exactly where I’m suppose to be. I have adapted well here and feel right at home. The people here are beautiful and kind. Some have even become like family. I am building meaningful friendships that I know will continue once My time here is up. I’ve learned so much already and I am thankful for those who have welcomed me with open arms and who have made this decision a lot easier for me. Being able to still communicate back home to my family and friends is also something I also very thankful for. I am grateful for all of you who continue to cheer me on, keep me in the loop and those of you who check in on me! I have come to realize that missing home sometimes and me enjoying my time here can coexist and one doesn’t take away from the other. Yallah 🫶🏾🇵🇸🙏🏾 #tlpicks
