In the face of protests triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini, @IranianWomenofGraphicDesign is calling for audiences to harness modes of visual revolt in protests and online. To amplify the #WomenLifeFreedom movement, @IranianWomenofGraphicDesign – formerly a collection of work by female Iranian designers – has evolved into a protest platform, featuring posters by Iranian and non-Iranian designers to be used for revolt “online, on walls and in the streets worldwide”. The graphics reflect on the actions of people in Iran who continue to demand freedom and justice, despite government security forces responding with deadly force to the protests.
