Hey! A year ago I wrote a simple Python script to help out Sjoerd @nousklaer_audio with his Bandcamp accountancy, saving him a couple of hours in excel every couple months. Over the past year I've spent way too much of my spare time to make a user interface and added some new features. After sending test versions to a couple of friends I fixed the final bugs and am now ready to finally release the application to the public! It works as follows - You enter your Bandcamp sales statement - You enter the revenue split the label gets plus the statement period - You get a zip file containing a bunch of different accountancy reports: --- A digital statement that shows how much you owe each artist --- A digital statement that shows the income per release / catalog number --- A physical statement with all physical income summed (this is returned separately to be able to deduct production costs) --- A refunds file --- A detailed digital statement file which you can send to all your artists, containing a total amount earned in the period and an overview how much each track / release has been sold.
