Mood: Minding my business. (*whispers* my business is travel...) Venice 🇮🇹 Italy Just had a conversation with @hownottotravellikeabasicbitch on Covid-travel and how some are reacting negatively to those who are CHOOSING to do it. Travel is my business, so to me it’s a no brainer that when countries allowed it, I would be amongst the first to volunteer as tribute. 🤣 Of course, I am taking all the necessary precautions advised by each country official and I am fully aware of the risks involved with being amongst the first but I am glad I am doing this. Asides from getting to experience all the tourist traps without tourists, I am also getting to experience first-hand what travel during and post-Covid will be like. This trip is pushing me as a trip curator and travel content creator to go the extra mile in what I deliver. I’m asking the questions, doing the research and doing more ground work than I’ve ever done and this will only increase my ability to execute safe, reliable and high-level experiences for my travellers. If you don’t feel safe travelling, you should feel no pressure to do so and no judgement either. If you feel safe doing so, do your research (each country has been affected differently and will have different rules that change every day), be prepared and follow all precautionary measures put in place to keep everyone safe. This is how we’re going about it! Oh you’re probably wondering how I ended up in Venice, right? No? Okay well I’ll tell you anyways... After dropping off the camper van, we rented a car and drove from Split, Croatia to Ljubljana, Slovenia. Slept overnight in the car then took a small shuttle bus to Venice from there. We had no issues getting into any of these countries as we were travelling from countries from which travel was allowed (check each country’s government websites for allowed countries) I am a lot more detailed in my story, so checkout my highlight for more!
