Part 1. One of the best photography gigs that I do is the @songwritershalloffame gathering. Almost 20 years at this point. As a person that was a songwriter before picking up a camera, this is the GIG of the year for me. Tonight did not disappoint, especially after a 2 year hiatus Its amazing when you find out some middle aged guy wrote the hook for “Summertime Sadness” @ricknowels is that guy and so much more. Dude has written a shitload of songs you know Even more amazing when @st_vincent opens the show playing @eurythmicsmusic AND THEN @officialannielennox and @davestewarteurythmics play after accepting an award for killer songs @stevemillerband shared stories that gave me a greater understanding of his music. Did you know Les Paul was his godfather? Me neither @mickeystevensonofficial was the shining star. Dude helped get a musical revolution off the ground and had the story of a lifetime.
